COMUNIDAD/COMMUNITY
CommUnity/CommUnidad (C.U.) is the Council for Minority Student Affairs (CMSA) annual service project. Started in Spring 2018, C.U. is a service project done in the spring where in one day CMSA members, and volunteers from various other organizations come together to give back to the underrepresented minority community in Bryan and College Station. C.U. Volunteers participate in this event to show appreciation to the surrounding community that needs a lending hand. On April 9th, 2022, volunteers will complete community service projects such as yard work, painting, window washing, etc. Volunteers will also host a food drive available to the Bryan community. By completing these service projects, volunteers learn the value of community service by reaching out to the more vulnerable communities.
CMSA will conduct the Fourth Annual ComUnidad on April 9th, 2022. We rely on the help of volunteers to search for service projects and complete them as well.
