FIRST-GENERATION IMMIGRANT SCHOLARSHIP

CMSA is proud to award the First-Generation Immigrant Scholarship to one Texas A&M University student every year.
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must:
Be a college freshman, sophomore, or junior.
Enroll at Texas A&M University as a full-time student for the upcoming semester
Have a GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
The scholarship will be awarded in the spring semester for the upcoming school year
A committee made up of executive board members from CMSA and the Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network (BIIN) will review applications and select the recipient(s)
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Application must be in PDF format.
The application must be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 17 at 11:59pm
Recipient(s) will be announced at the CMSA End of the Year Banquet on April 17, 2020
Scholarship funds will be paid to the student over the summer and the student is responsible for turning in the check to the financial aid office
